Saludos Fermer,
Thank you for contacting me and giving me the opportunity to offer my
top-quality service, high above the common standard in Israel.
Currently I am available, and will be able to pick you up from Ashdod, on
Wednesday the 30th of December 2009.
Considering the fact that I am based in Tel Aviv, my prices refer to the
whole of my way for this ride and therefore it may be a little bit more
expensive in comparison with a taxi operator based in Ashdod.
Option 1:
The price for the ride from Ashdod to Jerusalem is:
Day fare – NIS 480 (US $134 or Euro 92)
The price is all-inclusive without additional charge.
The price for the way back is similar to the price mentioned above.
Option 2:
I am pleased to offer you my all day service as follows:
The price for this ride should cost: NIS 1,200 (US $330 or Euro 225), for a
total time up to 8 hours.
For each additional hour over then 8 hours, there it will be an additional
charge of NIS 100 (US $ 28 or Euro 20) per hour.
The duration of the ride from Ashdod to Jerusalem takes approximately 60-70
minutes.
In my opinion 5-6 hours net is enough time to visit the whole sites.
Recommended site for visiting:
1 The Holocaust museum.
2See the new open shopping mall at “Mammilla” project.
3Walking in the old city alleyway, the Jewish square and finalize at the
Western Wall (the Kotel).
4Visiting at the Holy Sepulcher in the old city and some of the famous
Christian church.
5Spectacular view of the old city from the Scopus Mount.
6Spectacular view of the old city from the Mount of Olives.
7Other sites as you choose….
My offer is based on prices quoted in NIS (New Israel Shekels).
For your convenience I wrote the current estimated price in US$ and Euro,
but it is subject to changes according to the currency rate at the date of
payment. Payment is not requested in advance, only at the end of the drive.
I prefer to receive the payment in NIS, however US$ and Euro are acceptable
as well. The above mentioned offer is valid up to 4 passengers, without any
additional charge.
For your knowledge:
I recently found out that according to the weird rules of Ashdod seaport,
pre ordered taxis are not allowed to pick up passengers from the pier area.
I tried to contact officials in the seaport and apply for a special
authorization but they strongly refused to consider it. The reason is very
simple – they want the arriving passengers to use the local taxis of Ashdod.
The closest point where I can wait for you is outside gate 3, which is
located about 300-400 meters from the docking pier (my estimate distance). I
thought it'd be fair to pass this information to you in advance so you know
how ridiculously things work in Ashdod seaport.
(You can catch a local taxi to go outside the port and to ask the driver to
put on the meter. I do believe that it will cost you not more then NIS 15 -
fifteen)
Please confirm, and I will be waiting outside the gate number 3 at Ashdod
seaport holding a sign board with your name written clearly on it.
Although I'm not a licensed guide I know very well the popular locations of
the sites that tourists usually wish to see.
Unlike other taxi service operators I speak English and I'm highly familiar
with the roads.
I hope you join my constantly growing list of highly satisfied clients as I
believe that my clients deserve the best value for their money.
