DAY ONE - HAIFA / NAZARETH / GALILEE / JERUSALEM
Start your day with a visit to Nazareth -
.Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, . Leave Nazareth and drive to the Mount of beatitudes - Christ
delivered the Sermon on the Mount from this hill. In 2000, From the terrace of the domed Catholic Church, founded in 1937, there are splendid views of the Sea of Galilee.
Continue to Capernaum -
After lunch in a Kibbutz in the Galilee, drive to the River Jordan and visit the bank revered by the faithful as the spot where
John the Baptist immersed Jesus in the waters of the Jordan.
Once in Jerusalem, check in to your hotel and have some time to relax. After dinner, an optional drive around the Old City walls
will be available.
DAY TWO - BETHLEHEM / JERUSALEM / ASHDOD
After breakfast and check out from your hotel, your tour will start with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from Mount Scopus.
Then, drive to the Garden of Gethsemane -
the Mount of Olives overlooking Jerusalem. It was here in this garden that Judas betrayed Christ. Church of All Nations - Built at Gethsemane in 1924, the
church features interior domes decorated with mosaic symbols of the countries that contributed to its construction.
The Rock of Agony, where Christ endured His Passion is located at the Altar.
Your next stop is in Bethlehem - Visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
After lunch, drive to the Dung Gate and start your walking tour of the Old City. Visit the Western or Wailing Wall - Revered as
the sole remnant of the 2nd Temple (destroyed by Rome in 70 A.D.), the massive Western Wall is actually part of the Temple
Mount foundation erected by Herod the Great. The Wall is the most sacred Jewish shrine in Jerusalem. From the plaza you can
view the Temple Mount dominated by the El Asqa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, sacred to the Muslims.
Walk the Via Dolorosa - The Way of Suffering to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, site of the final Stations of the Cross. The
church is believed to enshrine the sites of Christ's crucifixion, entombment and resurrection. The 12th century church is
shared by several Christian denominations. Steep steps lead to the second level where a shrine is situated in Calvary or
Golgotha. Walk through the Bazaar and leave the Old City via the Jaffa Gate.
